there's no way because you say so? And last September, the Liberty Square Riverboat, Hall of Presidents, Living Seas, Livin' with the Land, and Tarzan Rocks were closed (and Lights, Motors, Action! for about a week). There was also decreased capacity due to no Timekeeper.

Ahhhh I can't even read this thread... I hate Aerosmith so much. I'm not a Chili Peppers fan but that would be an improvement much more so than the idea of U2. I would vote The Rolling Stones, they at least had a period of making good music (U2 had one album I guess). I understand the need for mass appeal and that my number one vote of Rock'n'Roller Coaster starring Neutral Milk Hotel will probably never be taken into consideration but it hurts me so much to have Disney, which I love so much be mixed with something I hate.

I think the band was a good choice...

Why "throw away" money on a different band when honestly... most riders don't even notice the story? I think disney played it smart, they didn't push it too far, but rather just enough. Most parents/adults at least know the name and a song or two which works out nicely. Remeber, Aerosmith is not the draw, the ride itself is, and the idea of that band is just an awesome tie in! They could have made up a band for all I care and I still have a blast on it!

Ok, lets clear some things up here. First, Aerosmith just released a record on 10-17-2006 which featured two new songs (Devils' got a new disguise and sedona sunrise). Secondly, for the better part of the winter, the band was in the studio working on their next (ALL NEW) unnamed album. The band is currently getting ready to start their next tour, a WORLD tour, which marks the first time that a 'WORLD TOUR' has actually gone outside the US and Mexico since 9/11. Aerosmith will appear all throughout europe in the coming months.

Secondly, the original idea of RnR was to change with whatever is popular. Thus, you see no aero logos on the ride. However, the band has confirmed that Disney strictly put in their contract that RnR was 'Aerosmith' and not to go to another band.

I have been told that steven was conversing with Disney about getting more Aerosmith mentions throughout the ride.
