Rock'n'Roller Coaster Changes?

So I currently have a friend at WDW and she rode Rock'n'Roller coaster today. She texted me and said that they played different music that wasn't Aerosmith. I haven't see anything about a change to the soundtrack, but I was wondering if anyone rode it recently and noticed a difference. She may have ridden and gotten an Aerosmith song that she didn't recognize, but I just wanted to check!

Yeah...she probably just got a different track. There is one that I very rarely get, and I love, that I have overheard people getting out of the train arguing about whether it was Aerosmith. That would be something that would be pretty major. Hope she has a great visit!

Went on the ride twice during my last trip. First time that I ever got Walk This Way (oddly enough after all these years).

Is there a way to figure out which car plays "ABC" track? I always hope to get the car with the Young /F.I.N.E./Elevator medley.

Yes. First, you can ask for it when you get to the end of the queue and the CM will put you in the "front of the ride" waiting area until the vehicle arrives.

Second, it's based on the license plate on the "limo".

My fave song by them is Pink but a) not fast-paced enough? and b) about stuff probably best left out of Disney parks!

Thank you! We missed most of the queue as only my cousin and I wanted to ride in the end so got to go on 3 times in the space of about an hour with all the fast passes.

Its possible the OP's friend was hearing the Christmas rock music BGM loop which replaces the Aerosmith loop for the holidays. The ride itself is not changed, though.

Pink is one of the best newer songs by them. As to it being appropriate... my grandmother was singing it a couple months back, her and her church friends like it...go figure.
Toys in the attic could play on repeat and I would be happy!
When my wife and I were at HS last march, we rode RRC for the first time, her glasses fell outof her hand as we started the ride. I spent the whole ride "gently" standing on her glasses in the floor board and missed most of the sights and sounds...I'm excited to go back and get to experience it again this month!
