It's not really that uncommon for a bat or bird to get inside building and not be able to get out. :wave:

One of the times the ride went 101 for the bat problem, our manager came to us and said "If guests ask why, you can tell them there was a bird in the attraction, but really it's a bat but don't tell them that!" Disney lie? Nah. :lookaroun

Florida's Bats
Florida is home to thirteen (13) species of bats that are either year round or seasonal residents. All thirteen species are insectivorous. Some form colonies and some roost alone. There are also seven species of bats that have, on occasion, been found in Florida but they do not normally live here. These are referred to as accidental species. Three are from more northern climates and also eat insects. Four are from more tropical regions and feed on nectar, pollen and fruit. The latter have only been found in south Florida and the Florida Keys.

Why not? Bats should be allowed to enjoy all parts of WDW, not just the AK - I just think it was very rude of this particular bat to shut the ride down for everyone else. I just hope we don't judge all bats by the irresponsible behavior of a few.

Does anyone remember this actually happening to that guyFabio? I don't remember where it was, but he was on a roller coaster and a brid flew by, hit and broke his nose!!
