Sitting in the front row by yourself as a child will always be one of my most thrilling/horrifying memories of RR. It was kind of a odd design to have a single seat at the front in a family park but I would totally love it as an adult. Very thrilling!

Rocket Rods, even with a short lifespan of an attraction cost the company millions of dollars and investment less. We were getting other great projects around the time Rocket Rods was designed. It was not the major investment of a new opened land promoted for nearly three years. Physical thrills and environments were technically explored in Rocket Rods. They were kinetic energy even for non riders.

Another point for Rocket Rods is a ride doesn't have to be super immersive to be well themed. And while it had its flaws, it did fit in with theming.

Rocket Rods was an awful & stupid replacement for the beloved Peoplemover, but I voted for it because
in this fantasy I'm obviously allowed to time travel, & during this 24 hours l'll also find my younger myself (I was attending USC film School while the failed Rocket Rods was briefly open) and give myself some dating advice, lottery numbers, & real estate & stock tips for after I win the lottery.

But why wasn't SUPERSTAR LIMO an option?!

Remember, though, at that late stage in its existence, Peoplemover was in terrible shape, clunking and rattling and breaking down constantly (but still looking great).

I enjoyed Rocket Rods, but definitely would have preferred a Peoplemover refurb.

People Mover > Rocket Rods > Web Slingers

I think that sums up my opinion fairly well. We don't need IPs shoved into everything.
