Subject: This picture was taken before the start of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad construction. It also has a great view of the 'old' Tomorrowland with the original entrance fountains, StarJets, PeopleMover, Eastern's If you had wings as well as the Skyway running through Fantasyland.

As always, great!

I thought the Tomorrowland facades were painted pale orange later than this - guess I was wrong! Can you still see the Carousel Theatres backside open like that (ie see the rotating wall from outside the park?)

Rob, any luck with those model pics we discussed??

At first glance I thought I miss labeled the date on the picture when I scanned it. Then while switching back and forth between 2 or 3 pictures it hit me that it is indeed 1978 since Big Thunder is no place to be seen...


I have a couple of the Magic Kingdom model I will get to you as soon as I can.
