Has anyone else read Bob Iger’s book?

Im almost finished and finding it quite fascinating, interesting insight on his rise to CEO and his thoughts on running Disney.

Would love to get a discussion going.

@TP2000 .... thoughts?

Does Lucas feel betrayed by Iger?

TP2000 still in line at Disneyland.

They reached capacity yesterday. Imagine when RotR opens. 💰

I listened to the audio version and yeah George really did. Iger said he should have been upfront with George that they were not going to use his plans for Episodes 7-9 but wasn’t. Don’t think Iger was particularly bothered though
He seemed pretty adamant in the book that he should have handled that better.

Haven’t read the book, but Bob Iger’s biggest legacy will be getting rid of creative liberties due to greed. Yes the money is great but at what cost? Being creative is now deemed a risk, which doesn’t make sense at all. If anything, being uncreative is a risk, and safe bets are at creativity.

And quite frankly, Disney owning Marvel and Fox (The Simpsons) seems backwards. It just sounds weird. Lucasfilm makes sense, because they’ve collaborated with George for over 30 years.
