The only buses I see on that side of the road are an Alamo van stopped before it, and a row of buses blocking all lanes, either for visual or safety reasons (physically blocking a car from ignoring the detour and running through the cones).

The buses may also be providing air conditioned rest spaces for the emergency and utility workers on-scene.

Exactly, one has to be looking for a problem to make anything out of what we have seen especially since no matter what happened no one called us to explain their actions. I know it has been mentioned, probably to many times, that people are critical of Disney because the love Disney. In my mind, with friends like that, who needs enemies. Is it a new thing that we are to assume things without having a clue or even a tiny bit of information?

Not buying the air conditioned rest spaced. There isn't an emergency or utility vehicle anywhere in that picture. Yes, the shadow is in front of the bus, so it's possible the bus is standing still. It's also possible the since a photograph takes a fraction of a second to take, the bus was actually moving and drove under the structure a moment later. Unless there is an eye witness to this it can be argued either way all day.

Here is a picture from a different angle with the bus in the same location. Unless these both were taken at almost exactly the same time, then the bus was stopped. Based on things said in this thread I was assuming it had gone under the sign, but it looks like that wasn't the case.

Just to settle the argument, i was driving to MK just shortly after this accident happened before any EMS or any disney personnel were on scene. i saw several cars and at least 2 buses 1 being WDW and another one of the off site busses going under and past the sign on that far right lane.

Guess I'm going to assume this got fixed since all someone had to say when i asked was that world drive was still closed though I'm sure they were being sarcastic as there is no way they'd leave the main property highway closed for WEEKs

Well, if you already knew the answer, why did you ask the question? Surely you realize that had it still been closed it would have been complained about constantly.
