Road construction on my route?

Any members who live in KY, TN, GA, FL know of any areas of construction we need to look out for? We are thinking of driving 65S thru TN, to 24 to 75S, leaving from Indianapolis. We can also go 74E to 75S and bypass 65S altogether and we have many times, I really hate Nashville traffic, but that is the most direct route. Just curious to see if anyone can shed some light on what the road construction would be like. We leave in 21 days!!!

Well in Georgia nothing major going on I-75, but minor issues can occur most anytime. I would check with each states DOT sites and see if they list anything. Some construction is ongoing on I-285 in Atlanta which depending on what time you pass through, it could impact your drive. Mostly the Atlanta issue is traffic in the morning and evening, but a Braves game, or similar can cause slowdowns.

Construction is ongoing in Macon, GA right now. I would take 475 bypass unless you plan on stopping there. There is also some construction in south GA at the moment around Tifton and Valdosta. Mostly just lane closures, so it shouldn't cause problems.
