Has the RNRC been running well lately since it's last refurb? I know they had trouble with the company they purchased the ride from. The company usually has trouble with it's rides! I can"t remember the name of the company, but i know it starts with a V.

When i was last there rnrc was fine. Disney, even though it doesn't say it, has all of there coasters made by Vekoma. The only rollercoaster that disney has, that is not made by vekoma is Matterhorn Bobsleds. It was made by Arrow. First steel tubular rollercoaster ever! Remember, EE is having its track made by Vekoma, but its a brand new style of track that should ride smoother with the wheels on the outside of the track. Can't wait for EE to open! Just 2 years!

Space Mtn is also not Vekoma.....if you look at the manufacturer it is listed as WED Enterprise......also Vekoma is notorious for their rollercoasters to become more and more bumpy over years of use.....I think RnRC has gotten extremely bumpy over the years.

Does this put the public in danger? Has anyone been known to be hurt or killed on one of there coasters?

I remember that the first time I rode the Matterhorn Bobsleds that they reminded me of a ride I had taken on another system known as a "Wild Mouse" which may have been one that travelled around with a carnival type group. It may have been that the "Wild Mouse" was copied from the Matterhorn Bobsleds, but it seems to me it was the other way around. Anyone know for sure? :veryconfu

A "Wild Mouse" coaster is what Primeval Whirl is. Wild mouse is just the style of the coaster and is usually referred to as a "Cat & Mouse" Coaster.

I rode Rockin Roller Coaster just a few months ago and it still feels incredibly smooth to me (at least by comparison to other coasters in the Orlando area).

California Screamin' is an Intamin coaster
Primeval Whirl is a Reverchon coaster

Mattahorn was a co-developments between Arrow Dynamics and WED

Vekoma have the Runaway Mine Trains, Rock n'n Rollercoasters, Expedition:Everest, Goofy's Barnstormer, DLP's Space Mountain.

The other Space Mountains I can't seem to find a consistant answer. Some places just say WED, some say Vekoma/WED and I think I may have read Arrow/WED somewhere as well.
