Yep it is gone. And the vistas that have been created since it and Motions were built are now apparent. I have this idealized thought that once WDI and TDO sees the views they may be inspired to create venues that match the potential of the area and a budget to match those plans. Because the possibilities are significant.

Wow that blog was depressing! I'm hoping this Amphitheater they are building is beautiful, includes a bar and has some form of nightly entertainment!
I'm shocked they think it might be opening it this summer.

Very few people visited these locations. I hope they make something that will bring people in. I'm more excited about that.

Yup... it's true, they are gone... And as far as the demo time-line for Sounstage and AC... By may, they'll be long gone, not sure where that blog got it's info, but there is no delay in the demo for those structures... There are infrastructure improvements that must be made prior to the construction of the waterfront ampitheater, and that will lie beneath those 2 clubs as well.. (electrical, water drainage and gas delivery lines)

They'll be gone within 6 weeks.

Yikes, that blog is depressing. Written by Eeyore.

It's like they cherry-picked all the most dismal rumors, and then presented them in the most depressing way, ever.

Too early to tell what's going to become of all of this. Waaay too early.

well if your purpose was to save PI and they tore down 2 of the club buildings, how is it not going to be depressing? He reports on any rumors of nightlife going into PI and sadly there are only rumors to the contrary, therefore it is depressing!

This:
Good riddance...
and this:

Seriously, life goes on. So many around here fall into the "Disney built it and so should never change it" camp. Move on. Don't be depressed because a lame nightclub has been demolished. As if some anonymous person's blogspot is going to stop the demolition. If Disney builds an awesome entertainment district in its place, great. If not... whatever. I'll be on Splash Mountain.

I'm looking forward to Hyperion Wharf. The concept art of the waterfront area, where RnRBC used to sit looks 100x more appealing.

i think he means that maybe disney might be inspired for HW by looking at some of this firm's plans for water-related projects?

that's my best guess.

Yes, just meant to fire people's imaginations. And not only for the lake at LBV. Some say WDW only has so much land to develop. But developing projects on the water would change everything.

So true. I think many people are probably stunned by how nice it is and that includes those in charge.
