Which one is less intense? I've been on EE, but never got to do RNR. I've heard RNR is smooth despite going upside down

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
I would do RNR over Everest any day!!! I can't stand huge drops..I don't like that drop feeling so I much prefer RNR. I rode Everest once and never again!! Also going upside down you really don't feel it on most rides that do this at least I don't notice it much. But you will hear many varying opinions. :cyclops::cat:

Interesting. My mind says Everest since it doesn't go upside down or have a launch at the start but it does go backwards pretty fast and has two decent downward drops whereas RNR doesn't really have any drops. The most intense part of RnR is the launch but the rest is pretty easy going. So I'd say RnR is probably the less intense one. But both about equal really.

The blast off at RNR is really pretty intense. If you don't like being suddenly jerked you might not like it. Honestly it creates the same "take your stomach" feeling that Everest does on its drops. I'd say they're about equal in intensity but would probably give a slight edge to Everest. If you ride in the front of Everest thought it will not feel as fast. Riding in the front of the Mine Train REALLY slows it down.

Depends on your defininition of intense. RnR does go upside down and the launch really shoves you into the back of the seat. No big drops or anything and being in the dark, it sort of dulls the sensation of moving around so much.

Everest doesn't go upside down but does have drops. Plus, it only has a lap restraint as opposed to the shoulder restraints on RnR, so you're less restricted and can move around a little bit more...

I don't mind coasters that go upside down but outside of the launch I don't care for RnR. I find it extremely rough and far more jerky than EE. EE is very smooth and I'm not sure the drops are much more than full train length.

I would say RNR - you have barrel twists upside down and very intense take off. Everest drop I don't think is intense and I would rate it personally slighty more intense than btmr at Mk. I used to be scared of coaster rides but got over my fear and now really enjoy them.

Other than the launch RnR is pretty mild IMO (still a ton of fun though). Definitely far more "butterflies" and anxiety moments of uncertainty on Everest than RnR.

Both are definitely fun. I can re-ride EE many more times though without feeling a little dizzy.

RNR is VERY fast at the beginning. Super fun. But if you haven't experienced it, or even if you have and you haven't been on a fast theme park ride for a while, it does feel fairly intense.

I personally found that EE is nowhere near as intense as I expected. The backwards part worried me before I went on it, but it's fun.

There are drops, but if you are sat in certain places it is a lot less intense.

RNR calms down about half way through..just FYI.

I believe that folks are affected by the axis displacement differently. RnR is linear with primarily up and down motion while EE incorporates more side to side with the up and down.

RNRC is way worse than Expedition Everest, IMO. That launch is wicked awful and that darn face camera knows exactly when to capture your expression. It is just impossible for me to pose for the camera right. But, the ride is very short, it's over before you know it.

I personally think Splash Mountain is worst than both of them. LOL.

Amateur, tsk. Me, I maintain my movie star good looks in every on-ride picture. Including my hair. -_-
