I was down there this past weekend and asked several cast members. It does look like this is going to happen very soon. Depending on how busy they are with other rehabs at MGM depends on the actual schedule they will end up with.

We just got back last night from 7 days at disney and we had no trouble with RnRC. We rode it twice and no breakdowns or even faul speakers like i have heard.

If it was going down in September for a scheduled rehab then I think they would have made some kind of official announcement by now.

As it is I can't see it happening, but you never know.

That's exactly how I felt, well I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Ya, you'd think there would be an announcement if it is just over a month away. As long as it's up in May.:D It'll probably be done this fall though, maybe not as early as mid September.

When I wrote Disney about CoP and they told me to check their site for dates when it would be open. Right now it still says 'open seasonally'. Glad someone on this board got the exact dates and passed them along. Sadly sometimes you never know till the moment it happens.

When I was there last month I had no problems with RnRC either. Well, except for the fact that I had to hear my Father-in-law singing "Walk This Way" for the next few hours after riding it.

Maybe, but a major ride like RnRC vs the openeing hours of COP are two quite different things. IMHO.

Of course it could happen, but somehow I can not imagine them bringing three of the biggest attractions down in the same month.

Yeah, I know it is a slower period of the year for them, but geez.... All these rehabs at once are a little much.

I just came back from WDW two weeks ago, and I rode the RNR quite a few times on different days without a problem. Thank goodness I know people who work there and I didn't have to wait in the line. But if Disney feels the need to rehab a ride, we all know it's for the best, because I know that the company doesn't want to ________ people off by closing our favorite attractions periodically. If they are closing a ride for awhile, there must be a good reason for it. Safety first! :0)

I'm sorry but it seems like everythign is going to be closed when i'm going to be there. I know things need a fresh coat of paint and all that, but is this the downside of the FTV package? They friggin close everything, no eride nights and shorten the hours once more? It dont seem right..... Thaty and NO more playing checkers with Big Al! Damm management....

Is there anything else that Disney would like to rehab during Sept???

i will be there from August 30th to Sept 13th!!! RNR / TOT (Although one tower will be working!) and BTMR all under rehab!!!! Its a good thing this is not my first trip!!!!!!! Well I have heard from you guys that the crowds are reduced at this time of year so hopefully I will be able to get a few rides on RNR before they shut it!!!!

*** ONLY 14 DAYS TO GO *** I CANNOT WAIT ANYMORE IT IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!! :hammer: :hammer: :hammer: :hammer:

Have a magical day

Oh well, I guess this forces me to ride RnRC on the 5th. We arrive on the 5th, and hadn't planned to go to MGM that day, but I guess I have no choice!:brick:

well at least you get to ride it. but it does throw a bit of a problem to any plan people already made.
