No particular reason except that they sometimes close water rides if it gets too cold. I was just asking if it was cold enough to cause that.

Tower was also closed today briefly....and let me tell you....if either tower or rnrcc are down....Hollywood studios is almost a waste of time

Tell me about it...we're not fans of ToT and DHS was a whole lot of nothing to do.
On another note, if any of you get coffee from the Jeoffrey's stand by where Phineas and Ferb do their meet and greet, careful! The cups cannot stand the heat of the drinks my wife spilled hot mocha latte on her hand because the cup collapsed and the lid popped out.
We told Disney and also told them that service at Mama's Melrose was awful (slow and not timely) not to mention our waitress did not want to give us the voucher for Fantasmic sayings we didn't have a reservation when I had it in my app, which she didn't want to see.
Guest relations made it better but yeah, wasted day. Just going back for FP for Toy Story and Fantasmic because the Star Wars weekend meet and greets were very unorganized. DHS is a mess full of unhappy employees!
Sorry, rant and vent over.

Under the arch to R&R. I would have expected them to still have the gift shop open even if the attraction was down.

Ugh, I hope not. (Or at least hope that it's as quick of a fix as before) We'll be at the Studios this Friday...
On our trip back in November, we went to the Studios for a few hours on our checkout day and RnRC was closed while we were there (then I read on here that it had been closed the day before, too). It reopened later that evening, but by that time we were already at the airport.
We had FP+ reservations but I got an email on my phone shortly before the park opened that day saying that our FP+ for RnRC wasn't available. It became a wildcard FP+ and we used it to ride Tower a second time after our original Tower FP+.
