@The4mousekeeters I wouldn't worry about eating a Tiffins and watching ROL, you will enjoy it, very peaceful like most have said. My daughter and I were just there and watched it. Afterwards we used a FP+ for EE then walked back towards Africa. The place was deserted. It was so wonderful, there is even a small sitting area on the water at the back side of the Tree of Life that you can watch Awakenings. It was a very peaceful walk, we even were able to use the back bridge into Pandora but that's where all the crowds were. It was a wonderful way to end the night.

Or you could go back into Pandora and ride NRJ (presumably you had a FP for FOP earlier. NRJ isn’t worth a long wait). While not a great ride, it would be a good time to do it. I had a 5 minute wait.

We arrived at park opening and rode NRJ twice in a row with no wait. I found the ride very relaxing. Is it worth riding twice, not really but with no wait, why not?

Have the Tiffins ROL dining package planned for the last night of our anniversary trip our in Sept. Was looking forward to it but after hearing mixed reviews I’m worried we’ll regret the time we spend on this show our last night. Thoughts?
I just saw Rivers Of Light again. I guess I was jaded the first few times after reading all of the negative reviews. It contains no Disney IP. I’ve heard complaints that it doesn’t and I know there would be outrage if it did. I’m finding out that many of the negative reviews are from those who haven’t actually seen it in person. Not all but a lot have just seen video. I know many members here have seen it in person and I respect their opinions but this time I was absolutely amazed. Truly blown away. I noticed things I didn't notice the first few times. IMO it is the best nighttime spectacular in Orlando currently. It’s unlike anything Disney has done recently. I think it is better than World of Color at California Adventure. The special effects are breathe taking. It will be a must do for me every time I venture to AK now. I truly connected with the show and it will be very special to me from now on. So to the OP enjoy your delicious dinner at Tiffins and go into ROL with an open mind and an open heart. I know it’s hard to be romantic with thousands of people around but I think seeing ROL is about as close to romantic as you can get in a crowded park. Please come back and let us know how everything went.

Tiffins has become a favorite already.

We enjoyed the whole experience of RoL. Probably not something I’d go out of my way to do over and over again, but neither are the fireworks at MK. I’d rather go on all the rides with short waits while everyone else is watching!

Re: YouTube: I’m not a watch in advance kind of guy; I’d rather experience it in person first.

However, if you do want to preview it, if you have DirecTV, they have the official Disney video on demand. I’m sure that’s better than somebody’s camera phone. We watched that after seeing it in person and it gave us perspectives and close-ups we couldn’t see in person.

Have fun!

Thanks! How do I find the on demand videos on directv? Disney Channel on demand?
