I hope they are going to remove all of what they put into River Country instead of just abandoning it to rot. My guess is that will never happen until construction of whatever might be put in its place, though. This sort of thing happens in Arkansas with old attractions, but I never thought it would happen at WDW.

I'm thinking your right due to the fact that its an individual seller not the WDC or someone else. Couldnt disney prosecute him for stealing it? I mean he has made it public that he did and all they would need to do is ask Ebay for his name. Just my thoughts. :veryconfu

First of all, those pictures are from one of our member here's site (Robfasto of www.disneypix.com) The seller listed that right in the listing. As for the night pictures, I believe someone on here posted them awhile back as well. I don't think it's "illegal" to be out and about in River Country. I don't think its roped off or has any signs.
And second, where does it say that he stole it? The line about where the sign was tied down?
Hmmm....I'm going to have to put this auction on my favorites and keep an eye on it. This could be interesting.

I don't think he stole it, but I'm surprised that its not Disney or Mouse Surplus who are running the auction.

I wish we had managed to visit RC, but it was closed before our first visit

I just checked my Ebay watch list and the sign auction is over with this listed
"The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale." The last price I saw was a little over $60.00. Makes you wonder why this was pulled, it did have over 230 visits to the page.
