Great video! I never went to River Country but I wish now that I had. When I look at the pictures and videos of it, it just looks so relaxing.

Thank you for such a great little tribute! We loved River Country for the laid back atmosphere, so different from the other water parks, which are nice but more intense and high energy. One of our best family memories is of laying on the beach at River Country, eating lunch and being able to see Cinderella's castle in the distance . . . sigh. Videos like this give a chance to relive a terrific time, hats off to you! :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

Great Job on the tribute. I enjoyed it. I never went there but imagine it was a special place for many fans and it will be missed like many other WDW attractions.

that was a very nice tribute. I only went to river country once, the zip line was my favorite!

I went to River Country when I was 10. My only memory was going on one of those short slides that dropped off high above the water- it was higher than I expected b/c it totally knocked the wind out of me! It was fun though :lol:

I have the 1996 and 1998 Birnbaum's books that have info. on RC, its fun to read the old guidebooks. -Stephanie
