They are replacing the current sprung tents which have been in place for 20+ years I think?

Since 2006. I'm assuming their age has something to do with this, because otherwise couldn't they just... move them? I swear being portable was supposed to be part of their appeal.

For this year, they are only replacing the parade houses. The sprung tents will continue to be utilized.

Wouldn't surprise me to see them install two additional new tents next year to fully replace the older tents. Seems like this back area will finally give HHN its own dedicated area without worry of getting in the way of theme park expansion

Saw they have 13 new floats to house so parade building will be full

You can literally feel the love ooze out from every tangent posted. IMHO it was a pretty fun ride in its early years with a larger soundtrack selection and not as rough as an Arrow coaster.

This is pretty much it for me. It got too rough too fast, along with some other issues, for me personally (and I’m one that is generally very tolerant of rough rides). It wasn’t all that great of a ride to start with anyway, so along with other issues…meh, good riddance.

Rip Ride Rocket is definitely closednf with Supercharged following its closing as well in the not too distant future. I personally dislike RRR unless it’s at night, but removing that eyesore will be a great step in the right direction for the park.

The only reason FnFS hasn't even closed yet or gone seasonal has been due to its ongoing sponsorship. It and Minion Blast are widely disliked by park guests so they'll all be replaced at some point.
Part of me hopes Fast & Furious never reopens after its 3-month refurbishment later this year.

*Not really a refurbishment, it gets very low ridership, especially when USF is closing at 5PM for HHN nearly every day for 2 months.

The rumor of HRRR closing was dropped on the IU forums by a user named Tomfoolery. Tomfoolery is actually someone who likely works at the Universal marketing department who was planted on the forum to drop updates to the fans. for example he said the F&F coaster at USH was pushed back to 2026 and the next day Universal officially announced it.

Alicia Stella, an insider who doesn't work at Universal directly, said recently that plans have shifted to prioritize SNW expansion at EU Pushing Pokemon at USF to 2030 now.
