RIP meatball sub

This chicken parm sandwich at Pinocchio Village Haus is a slap in the face. Whoever decided it would be a good idea to replace this with the MS needs to find a new job. It might take half as much effort to make, but screw you anyway.

This isn't simply a replacement of meatballs with chicken. It's a cheap tasting kaiser roll that isn't toasted with a patty that tastes like various chicken parts. No longer do they use that fantastic sub roll and toast the whole thing with lots of cheese on top. This, Disney, sucks big time.

I never had the meatball sub but I am sorry for you that it is gone. I hate it when they take away something I love and replace it with something that is bad. I still miss the Cuban sandwich that they had at the Commissary at HS.

It has not been on the menu since at least June. Don't know if that means it is gone for good, but it has been gone for a while.

Gone also is the Mediterranean Salad from Pinnochio's. It's a real shame. A coordinator said all across the MK they got rid of all salads and are just sticking with hand tossed Caesar salads. Probably why the Taco Salad at Peco's got the boot as well. It seems across the parks and resorts Disney is getting very, very generic to the point where there's no variety. It's terrible.

I just tried to look up the MS at the Electric Umbrella in EPCOT. That was the last QS Restaurant that I had it at. Sorry to say it is gone there too. Although I think I will have to try the Sausage and Peppers Sandwich they seem to have replaced it with.

FYI if you are into kids meals for budget purposes. Capt. Cook's at the Polynesian has a great chicken & pineapple skewer kids meal that is pretty good. The cold chicken wrap at Electric Umbrella on kids meal is pretty good as well. Also, at Poly, if you get the kids chicken nuggets. You only get 4 but, they are real chickenbreast meat as opposed to what part of the chicken did that come from "meat".
