Right stroller choice?

We hired a Citi Mini double from Orlando Strollers. Worked out to about $10 a day and included a rain cover. The hood was amazing for shade. We went during January. I liked the underneath had great storage space and by the handle had cup holders. When the eldest child (age 3) was walking, it meant we had extra space to sling a bag into. Disney is built for families, and wide strollers! They hire out their own, remember, so obviously there is the path width for doubles. I also found that we could enjoy the park of an evening, with them in their snowsuits (after afternoon nap), they would sleep, (reclined if needed) and we could just shop or get hot chocolate and watch the electric parade.
My ultimate advice: Do a whole day at a local theme park, with your umbrella stroller, stay until late evening and see what happens to your kids. If they are fine go ahead, if not, you have found out before you get to Disney. It's bloody knackering being at WDW, go with comfort for kids over convenience for yourselves...

I just finished buying a stroller for my upcoming trip. I have a Britax B-Ready. My 7 month old LOVES the stroller as do I, however it's a monster compared to most strollers, and heavy. Also I don't want a $600 stroller getting damaged by the airline - happened to be before. I was searching on amazon and came across a great find http://www.amazon.com/Graco-LiteRid...gonfly/dp/B00AHVR3GQ/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top I'm pretty tall and unless it's a Maclaren, those cheaper umbrella strollers are too short for me and the hubby.

I love that he will have a tray to use, it reclines all the way back, so it will be great for naps, I will have some decent storage, and won't kill us loading and unloading off the bus.

Silly question, but did you get them from Walmart? If so, I have the same one. Absolutely adorable! However, I wouldn't count on using it in Disney. I've had mine for about two months, I actually got it for a trip this summer, and it's not working so great not. The wheels stopped working and I often have to kick the front left one to get the thing to start working again. Have you considered an umbrella double stroller? My friend has one for her girls and loves it, and it's super light. It cost a little more than you'd necessarily want to spend, but it's worth the price. It has room to put things (the Mickey one has none) and it has a bigger shade (Where the Mickey one doesn't cover ANYTHING.)

I love umbrella stroller and I think it'd be better to have one then bring a giant double stroller, but if you have the one I think it is I'd consider getting something else. Good luck!

I can only speak as someone who's been in the crowd with the strollers, not pushing them. For your safety and that of others, I commend you for choosing a small, lightweight stroller that will not be plowing down innocent strangers like the double-wides do! My ankles thank you.

Omg..I did get them from Walmart. Is it really that bad? We will have 5 adults with us to hold hands and carry the twins at some points, so I'm not expecting them to be in the stroller the whole time. Our double stroller that we normally use is very heavy, and would be impossible to get on the buses or trams. Any way we could get by with them?
Does the sun shade not help at all? How does your little one like it? Is it comfortable? Thanks.
