Riding in the Monorail Cab

Don't know if anyone has posted about this yet...

On the One More Disney Day site the question of the week is "What would you do with One More Disney Day?" and one of the multiple choice answers is "Ask if I can ride in the front seat of the Monorail." Could this be an indication that this might return after all?

Either that or its someone who's completely unaware of the policy change (wouldn't surprise me)

I see it being one of two things.
1. People simply do not know about the policy change.
2. A somewhat lame internet attempt to get cab riding reinstated.

Cab riding is still offered at Disneyland. I would think this was added by somebody familiar with Disneyland and not Walt Disney World.

I would assume it's directed towards Disneyland, since the monorail is considered an attraction and you can ride in the front. It would seem weird to suggest that people spend their 24 hours at the Magic Kingdom riding free transportation outside of the park gates.

Speaking of which, has Disney announced the hours for the Walt Disney World Monorail System during this event?

I'm sure you still can "ask" if you can. The answer will just be no at Disney World.

I agree that since this event is at both coasts that the poster was likely a Disneyland Guest.

I do miss the days of riding up front at WDW though....

Isn't this the same site where they had Vanessa Williams say she'd go to the Grand Floridian's Spa?

I think the people behind this promo/site haven't been to the park recently...

Wow, I must have missed this policy change. Granted I've stayed away from Disney news for a while... but was this policy change due to the accident a few years back? Was a great experience riding in the front. Damn shame that they took that away...
