rides you didn't think you'd like but did

What are some rides you honestly thought you wouldn't enjoy but once you got on, you did? Mine are
Carousel of Progress: We mostly went on it to get off our feet and kill time before or Fastpass time came up for Space Ranger Spin, I figured i'd enjoy it a little but would be mostly bored, but I actually was really impressed with it. Bits of it seems a little draggy, but I actually enjoyed it quite a bit
Indy Speedway: I went in line on this with my brother and sister simply 'cause I didn't want to seperate. The line was longer than it was worth I think and I hated the noise and smell, but the ride itself was amusing and the view I got of the castle *especially since it was night and the castle had turned a nice shade of red at that moment* was beautiful!!
Now, how about you?

I was scared to death to get on ToT ... seriously! My friends had to literally drag me on - the first time.

And now? Let's just say I've recovered quite nicely :animwink:

I can't take things that spin...even though I sometimes force myself; and the view is indeed awesome!

Riverboat. Refused to ride it most of my life until it returned from rehab.

I then road it half a dozen times in two days.

Wow.

When I was 5 I was scared to go on Haunted Mansion. Now? My favorite ride ever!

I love the theming and heritage, but the Mansion still scares me...it used to scare the **** out of me when I was younger; I had nightmares. I still can't open my eyes the whole time. Same for Everest and Snow White and Dinosaur, come to think of it. Even that dark temple in Jungle Cruise. Or the Great Movie Ride. Wow; Disney still has its magic. Call me whatever you want... :D

I went on HISTA right after it first opened, and I absolutely, positively, wanted NOTHING to do with it.

... And then I loved it. But the mice still scare the crap out of me.

Buss Lightyear!!

Definitely brings out the competitive side in you, We rode it the first time to kill time waiting for FP on Space Mountain, and i think we rode it more than anything in the park.

Can't wait to again ( Maybe this time i'll kick my bf's butt -- doubt it. he gets all into it lol ) :)

Buzz Lightyear's Spin.... I never liked Buzz's character, mostly because I loathe Tim Allen. But I decided it would be a crime and a sin to not go on EVERY Disney ride, so I did it and had a blast the whole time! Thankfully I was by myself, and really got into it.

HISTA's not THAT bad. It's just. . . old. And it has all the gimmicks you can find in the other 3D shows, but without a really entertaining story. It's pretty much just a series of 3D gimmicks. Philhar has great music, TTBAB has a great, immersive environment (and education) and Muppets has. . . Muppets.

Hista's pretty lame in comparison. That doesn't mean it's not still enjoyable.

Says the man who did it once on his CP and never since. . .

When I was younger, my mom would ride TTA in MK while my dad, my sister and I went on Space Mountain, and I remember laughing at her and refusing to even try it once.

I went back to WDW in May with my husband, and we decided to ride TTA after a really long day, because we were tired and thought it would be a nice break. Well, I have to admit I enjoyed it! We ended up riding it 2 or 3 times and I'll make sure to go back on our next visit!

Another one that just came to mind is Primeval Whirl at AK in Dinoland....errrr, but I just recalled that you said you can't take things that spin so this one is definitely not for you...
