Rides Which don't Need Fastpass

I was watching the Disney Vacation Planning DVD and listened to the fastpass section of the film. Which led me to wonder what ride that has fastpass, really doesn't need it. I believe Honey I Shrunk the Audience and the Maelstrom don't need fastpass at all. What does everyone else think?

I think that the rides that don't need Fastpass are all the shows there. The only thing that it gives you a seat in the theater. It is like going to see a movie. You can buy a ticket but you are not granitee a seat in that theater.

And another that should not have one is Living with the Land. Out of everyone that I know they don't get Fastpasses there and sometimes there are no lines to get them compared to its naighbir Sorin'.

Very rarely did we need to run FP at It's Tough To Be A Bug. After seeing the numbers change throughout the day, I agree that it's really not needed. It's nice when theres a 45 min wait though, but that tends to only be for 2-3 hours at most. It's usually a walk-on to 15/20 minute wait.

EDIT: 45 minute wait is during holiday season... don't know about summer wait times though.

You wouldn't think so...but two weeks ago...LWTL had 50+ minute waits in the afternoon. I don't understand why...but it did.

FP works well for Philharmagic....granted you get a seat either way, but it does decrease your wait...which is what it's supposed to do.

I've actually had to use a FP on LstL just because the SB line was 60 minutes long.

And I think ALL rides that have FP should be taken away.

From what I've seen in my trips:

MK

Mickey's Philharmagic
SGE

Epcot

Honey, I Shrunk The Audience
Living With The Land (Isn't a bad setup now, but I think would work fine w/o FP)

MGM

Star Tours
Lights Motors Action
Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular
(However I think they should stay at Star Tours because it just adds another FP option and when it does see an update, it will need it.)

SGE had a 3 hour wait when I was at MK last spring break, so they may want to keep FP on a limited basis at least.

:veryconfu Why didn't anyone mention this a few months ago? Surely someone around here would have taken some pictures. I'm not sure how they would even accomidate such a long queue in that setup. I guess they would have to go out into the walkway, but they couldn't too much. I know when I saw AE have lines around 90 minutes, the line used pretty much all of the available queue and there was more room not used for FP.

Best laugh of the day. That's equivalent to a 10 minute wait for Sounds Dangerous.:snore:

I find it funny that everytime ive been to MK Stitch FP is never being used and always says that all FP for the day have been given out and that was at like 11 am and 2 pm

I don't think Living with the Land needs one either. I can't figure out if the waits are so long now because they have a FP, or if people are just killing time waiting for their Soarin' FP times to come up. But if they are waiting for their Soarin' FP times, how do they get FP's to Living with the Land?:lookaroun

I think that some of the Soarin' fast passes are for so far along in the day, the window passes and you can get another fast pass (i.e. for Living with the Land).

I, however, am thrilled to see Living with the Land with a crowd!:D It's nice to see unappreciated rides becoming appreciated.:D:D:D

The lines are so long right now b/c they have major staffing problems and can't run enough live boats to accomodate the line. These problems will disappear when the ride goes automated in September, and supposedly so will Fastpass.

Soarin' also now gives out "Surprise Fastpasses" for LwtL, which seems like a horrible idea given the current situation.

At MK Winnie the Pooh's FP should be removed. During the afternoon you shouldn't even bother trying to use the standby line. It never moves because of the fast pass people get sitted first. It is just a steading stream. I waited 20 mins before dropping out of line which never moved because they were only letting on fastpass people. :brick:
