Rides at Night

I agree about Jungle Cruise and being in the parks at night. Just a different feel about it all.

As for Everest and the EMH at AK it was awesome. Wait time was no more than 15 minutes and that was last year during spring break time. Plus exploring the areas near the Tree of Life before I left was cool as there was virtually no one around. For 15 or 20 minutes I didn't even see anyone.

Dinoland also has a completely different feel about it at night. Much cooler looking with lights at Chester and Hester's.

Totally agree with you. DAK at night is just really cool, but yet spooky at the same time. I know Disney would never do this in a million years, but I think having a scarefest or something along the lines of Universal's HHN at DAK would be incredible.

I don't know if this classifies as one...but Kiliminjaro Safari at night RULES. They only had it for a little while during the 2000 celebration, and it was a blast to see it at night. Too bad they discontinued it though, that would of been a great addition to my imaginary DAK scarefest.

From what I HAVE rode at night I agree BTM is great at night. So is the Jungle Cruise. It kinda makes it spooky, even with the skipper still telling jokes. And I love walking up to the Haunted Mansion at night. What a sight. Another I love is TTA gives you such a sight at night.

And you're all going to think I'm crazy. But my wife and I once got on the Speedway in separate cars at night... right when the fire works started going off. It was almost like we were alone and at one point we even stopped on our cars and watched the fireworks for a moment or two. It sounds funny but it was quite memorable.

I'll also add the Liberty Belle. It's not open at night year-round, but if you're there when it is, I highly recommend taking a cruise around Tom Sawyer Island.

I hate the que for Astro Orbiter but it is breathtaking at night! I just wish the ride was longer. We did it on and MNSSHP at night so the line wasn't too bad. I will try to do it again in the evening.

I have to agree. This ride is good at anytime for the views but especially at night.
Splash for some reason is fun at night also.

i've alway enjoyed the teacups in the evening...more lights to make your head spin! there is a sort of "magical county fair" atmosphere in fantasyland at night.

SpM is a great ride to go to at night. The HM is also great; for the holding pin it's great. EE I'm sure would be wonderful at night. The ToT is great to ride at night as well. BTMRR is a wonderful ride at night; it just makes the ride seem "scarier." TTA is a cool ride to chill out at night. Something about seeing Cinderella's Castle during MVMCP and seeing the castle completely covered in sparking lights was truly breathtaking for me.

The Matterhorn at DLR is great to go at night.
