Riders trapped on new Harry Potter ride at Universal Studios
A problem with the new Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey roller coaster at Universal Studios left passengers trapped on the ride Friday night.

A total of 132 people were on board the ride when it got stuck.

As of 9:15pm, 5 cars of the ride's 47 cars still needed to be evacuated.

Firefighters have been dispatched to the scene.

As of Friday night, it was unclear what caused the ride to get stuck, or when the ride would re-open.

This is why I hate our local news outlets. That and the fact they can't get anything correct. It's not a roller coaster, but now everyone will think it is.

I was on it during the evac last night (see other thread). Nothing difficult about it, really.
