According to SPI: Ridemakerz has just filed paperwork stating they will be moving to building #6 in the Marketplace! Could someone confirm this? And which building is #6?

yes I was reading through permits yesterday and since a couple seemed very generic, I took a look and googled addresses and figured it out. Not sure which is building #6 though. Either way it'll just leave a gaping hole(again) on the West Side

Not sure what to make of all these DTD "changes" (or lack thereof). I used to be cautiously optimistic, but the lack of any real progress, besides demolishing things for grass, has me giving up on DTD. What is the benefit of moving to the marketplace...more foot traffic? For how long? PI isn't the only place with ambience missing, the Marketplace is losing it to me too (in my opinion of course, but still).

This isn't an intentional dig, but on my next trip I'm going to Uni for the first time in over a decade. My sister is a librarian and is very excited to see Harry Potter. I was never really into the books, so I started reading them to prepare. I'm now getting really excited about WWoHP!

Honestly, if it lives up to the hype, they're going to be getting more than 1 day of my next vacation. My family used to spend 1.5-2 full days in DTD alone (out of our typical 8- to 9-day vacations). I think those days are going to be replaced by Uni days in the near future.

More evidence that the problems with the West Side were/are more than just Pleasure Island scaring away sensitive families.

The Save Pleasure Island blog has updated the earlier post. Apparently Ridemakerz is moving into the Team Mickey store, but it's not closing. Ridemakerz will get their own section of the store, probably similar to the baseball bat makers, albeit probably on a larger scale.....

Thanks for the update! I should check back with them more often!
I kind of figured it was going to be Team Disney, it seeems that they have the most sales space and yet they don't seem to be as popular as they used to be.
