Ride set up for Aerosmith and Space Mountain

I am trying to figure out how I will handle Aerosmith and Space Mountain for my special needs son. Usually I ride with him but I will have my 5 year old with us and wont be able to. He can ride unassisted but couldn't be left alone to load or be unattended when the ride is over. I vaguely remember Aerosmith being unloaded in the same place you load. Is that right? I figured we could wait w/ him and then once he gets on we could cross and wait for him to come back? Space mountain I know doesn't unload in the same place you load however, I thought well how does that work for someone w/ a wheelchair? their chair has to be waiting for them when they are done. I wonder if the same could apply to me? waiting for him when he comes back. Thoughts?

I don't know about Space but I have walked through the door on RnR. They unload just out of sight. As you load the door is behind the CM.

One early morning we rode RnR first and it had only a few people on it. When we got to the end they asked if we wanted to ride again. We walked through he door and got back on. I was surprised that there was still very few in line.
