Ride every ride in the WDW resort in one day

It's not even remotely possible. I don't even know what consists of an "attraction" here...you certainly could not include all the shows. So, even if you throw those out, and just do the moving rides (though this is still cheating when you throw out theater attractions like Philharmagic and ITTBAB, and include Soarin just because the seats move slightly) you could get through AK and DHS in a day, but once you hit MK or Epcot, forget about it. It could never be done. Even if the parks were completely deserted and there were no lines at all, I still am not sure you could do it with the pre-shows, ride times, travel times between parks, and walking or even running.

And we won't mention that there are six new attractions that are hard core "rides" coming to DCA in the next three years, compared to no announced "rides" coming to WDW in the next three years. The lead Disneyland has over WDW is about to get bigger!
That's right. Just rub it in to us East Coasters!:p

Ellen's Energy Adventure must take what, 3 hours or so, just by itself.

Since there are 55 rides at Disneyland/DCA and 46 rides at MK/Epcot/AK/DHS, and since it has been done at Disneyland/DCA, it would not seem impossible.

If there are about 10 additional rides in Anaheim than there are in all of WDW, it would seem the big hurdle is the commute time between the four WDW parks.

But if you had a driver waiting for you at pickup points, and they just dropped you off near the main entrance of each park in WDW, then theoretically it could be done.

It seems people are throwing in the towel on a WDW Gumball Rally too early. Annual Passholders at Disneyland have been doing it succesfully for years, and with more rides to get to than WDW Rally teams would have to worry about.

Not only is it possible (for the Magic Kingdom), but it's been done many, many times.

The current record as recognized by the Unofficial Guide to WDW is 52 attractions, shows, parades, fireworks and character encounters in 11 hours, 52 minutes. That covered every open thing in the park plus a couple of character greetings in Toontown and elsewhere, plus playing games in the Tomorrowland arcade, Frontierland Shootin' Arcade, Shrunken Ned's Junior Jungle Boats and more.

The previous record was 50 in 12:48. It's worth noting that all of these teams use a touring plan optimized by the Guide's computer algorithm. With something like that it's trivial to hit 40 unique attractions in a day, regardless of the time of year. (One record was set July 4th weekend.)

As for all the attractions in all the parks in a day, it's not possible. Heck, I don't know if it's possible to see everything in Epcot in one day, owing to the length of the presentations.
