I almost got evacuated from HPatFJ once! We were pretty much upside down (dodging the whomping willow), and we just hung there for about 20 mins. Got to see the whole area lit up which was interesting. All of us had a massive headache when we got off from hanging so long almost upside down though. Good times…Harry Potter and the foribben journey and kumba
Before the Covid-19 closure, you could walk through the backstage from Mexico to Test Track on NYE. The most interesting thing to see for me would always be how they rebuild the cars every so often. They almost completely disassemble them just to put them back together frequently! Another cool thing to see was for at least 1 year, you could walk from the wedding pavilion entrance to Soarin’. Almost every year there was a bypass between Figment (by the bathrooms) and the wedding pavilion, but at least one year you could leave the Land pavilion as well to get to the wedding pavilion.Have only been evacuated from Test Track, Tomorrowland Transit Authority, and Splash Mtn. We didn't mind having to stop on TTA when some dude dropped his cell phone over side of vehicle and tried to get out to retrieve it. We were only on the ride to rest for a few minutes out of the sun. TTA was scary that day! The steps down the backside were really steep! Now we make it a recurring adventure!
The evacuation from Test Track was sad. So uninspiring to see "backstage" so to speak. The attraction didn't work for the remainder of the day.
Splash evacuations had almost become part of the attraction, but it was great to be given a Fast Pass to ride when we wished. Everybody remembers those little slips of paper called Fast Pass, huh?

You were lucky it only took 10 minutes to get out. I think the last capsule my be more like 30 minutes after the first one, and that is assuming only one bay goes down at a time.I was evacuated from Mission Space once. It started up, then there was a clunk, a shudder, and it ground to a halt and I was stuck there for about 10 minutes, they then let us off. Let me say that the evac experience wasn't particularly enlightening!
I had the same thing. I got to watch the CM's and their hand signal stuff, but that was about it.I got evacuated from SE once, but I was like 5 foot away from the exit zone .
Got all the wait of an evac and none of the cool glimpse into the operations...

That is crazy! I’ve only been going to WDW for 15 years or so (the majority of my life) and I’ve been evacuated from numerous rides (if I had to place a number, I’d say 20 rides). I do wonder, however, if the rides at Disneyland don’t break down as often. Many of the ride systems have definitely stood the test of time after all! The ride systems that many of the older offerings have probably have a great amount of redundancy…I've been going to Disneyland for the better part of 40 years and done 4 trips to WDW and one to DLP. I have never been evacuated from a ride. I've been given a fast pass or multi-experience pass for a couple rides breaking as I'm boarding but never been into the ride and evacuated. So my wishlist...
ANY!
I mean… I know it’s safer and everything to get the ride reset, but it’s kind of sad when the ride is broken for so long and then they just reset it! RoR broke on the drop tower segment for me, seems like all cars were just forced into the other two drop towers. The lights turned on, a CM talked to us for a while in the intercom, and then they walked us off the ride as quickly as possible so they could get the ride running at 1/2-3/4 capacity again… that was a weird one but was interesting! The trackless element seemed to make the ride system more reliable in that case (of course, overall, the system caused a LOT of issues at first).Closest I ever got to a ride evac was on Splash Mountain back in 2016. We were stopped right at the scene where Br'er Bear was getting stung for about 20 minutes. Lights were turned on, music stopped and I was super excited because I thought we were gonna get walked off. Then everything reset and we started moving again
