I just tried to download and it says I need the iphone 4 software.
So does that mean it only works on the brand new iphones???
I am really excited about this app but not sure I will be able to get it.
Any info would be much appreciated!

It will run on iPhone3, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 4. You just need to have iOS 4 installed on your iPhone. This is available free from Apple and is installed when you connect your iPhone to iTunes.
With your iPhone plugged in, go into iTunes, then on the left hand side, goto DEVICES, click on your iPhone, then on the right side of the screen, under VERSION, click Check for Update. That should get you updated to iOS4.
Let me know if you have any problems installing.

Thank you so much for the directions! I am still getting used to this phone so I really appreciate the help.
I can't wait to try the app. I am glad there is finally something out there to use in WDW instead of just guide book apps.

At the moment you cannot add past rides. You could go and add them all in now, but they would have today's date and time.

I was wondering if you plan on releasing any enhancements to the Ride Counter app? I just used it on my recent trip and absolutely LOVED it! It would be nice to be able to email yourself a report so you can use it in trip reports or scrapbooking, etc. Also, it would be neat to have a "Ride Counter" for the monorail so you can keep track of which color you have ridden during your stay. My sons and I always try to ride as many different colors of the monorail as possible.

The monorails, along with all boats etc are available to track inside the TRANSPORTATION category on the park selection screen.
Good suggestion on the email report.

Just used this app for first time. Loved IT!!!!
I too would appreciate a way to "forward" the information to computer for use in scrapbooking, etc.
Also, ways to add restaurants, events such as Food & Wine, Flower & Garden, Marathons, Mickey's Halloween, etc.
And a way to edit information and/or delete mistaken entries
I look forward to using this app on all my future trips. What a help for us "older folks" who need a reminder of what we did when it comes time to scrap the trip.

RideCounter problems
I'm having trouble with the RideCounter app crashing. On the screen that says "Select users" I tap "Select attraction" and it advances to the next screen. My landing page defaults to AK. If I tap "Area", it gives me the 5 options (the 4 parks and transportation). If I tap any option, the app crashes and returns back at the home screen. Do you think it has anything to do with iOS 5?
I'm getting ready to travel to WDW in 3 weeks, and was looking forward to using this amazing app. I've already uninstalled it and redownloaded it just to see if it was a bad load, but the same problem keeps happening.
Please advise me on what I should do. Thanks in advance!

We are currently tracking a problem with this on iOS 5 are are currently looking at a fix. I'll post back with an update.
There is now an update in the App Store that fixes this issue.
I absolutely love this app and have used it for my past 3 trips. I recently got a new phone, and none of my ride data copied over. I can still see it on my old phone (which still works), but is there any way to move it/download it/etc. to my new one? I leave for WDW tomorrow morning.
There is not a way to automatically export the data. It does backup to iCloud, and if you restore the app from a backup on iTunes it will pull back the data. Did you install the App from scratch on the new phone?
The reason we didn't have those in was that we didn't expect guests to have their iPhone on hand to record them. It could be done though in the app if it was something that people wanted to track.
I mean. I remember what slides I did and what not. It just stinks being only able to figure in transit and parks when you do more. I looked at my count when I got back last month like uhh I have a whole day missing. Then it hit me, BB. Not complaining about what we have but just saying I personally think it would be a good add. I know for a fact I would make excellent use of it.
