I'm currently at Magic kingdom and Space Mountain is closed during my slotted fastpass + time. Will I still get to use that if the ride become operable again today? Help! :)

If you go to a kiosk you will get a list of alternate attractions that may include Space.

Do they not honour the FastPass+ anytime after the window the same day as they do with a traditional FastPass in the event of an attraction being out of service for a period of time anyway?

You get an email that says the following as I had a rain issue with test track earlier this week.

Heh - so one of your alternate experiences for Test Track was Test Track? ;) I guess that makes sense, since they were no longer restricting you to a one-hour time frame. Did it come back online, and did you use the Fastpass+ there later without incident?

It started up again, but I just did the single rider line later. I rode it about 4 times and did single rider every time. Never went into the design studio, just the generic car. Oops forgot to give the cards back. ;)

I think I didn't use a few of my fastpasses at Epcot during the four days. I even got some paper fastpasses from all the parks as souvenirs now.

But you see it doesn't give Soarin as a choice since I already used a magic band fastpass for Soarin earlier.

Glad to see visual confirmation that this is how the system works. (I'd only heard anecdotal stories and "this is how it should work" before now)

This is actually a lot more flexible than the current paper FP system. I like that you don't even have to make a selection, you just go to one of the attractions listed, scan the Band to enter and you're good to go.

Sorry that it took so long to reply what happened to me. So after the ride closure I just went about enjoying the rest of the park until I noticed Space Mountain was open again. Walked up to the FP entrance and put my magic band and it worked. That was at least 4 hours later than original time. So just as the email explained (I didn't get one) they honor the later time.

Glad it worked out for you. Looking forward to using the new system this weekend.

That along with not having to run from one side of the park to the other in the morning to get fastpasses or being able to modify your fastpass time right from your phone. The new system is a real drag.;)
I wonder if this will eliminate the 5K races that break out at each rope drop. Always a riot watching adults run to grab FPs while on vacation.
