As I said before Disney Marketing refuses to call the attraction by it's real name. They are under the impression that guests don't know what a Midway is. As has been exemplified in the past Disney has pretty incompetent marketing departments.(See new Imageworks page.)
From wikipedia
The attraction is being referred to as both Toy Story Midway Mania! and Toy Story Mania!. While the attraction marquees and some in-park signage read the former, the latter has been used in press releases to the news media, used in both resorts' advertisements, and on the disneyland.com disneyworld.com and official promotional website for the attraction, along with attraction merchandise. Basically according to WDI it is Toy Story Midway Mania!. To the geniuses in Marketing it is Toy Story Mania!
However the sign on the actual attraction in BOTH parks is Toy Story Midway Mania!.
Please refer to the attraction by it's real name.
The name of the attraction is Toy Story Midway Mania!. If you are going to abbreviate it use Midway Mania. The name Toy Story Mania! was a dumb idea by Disney's marketing department because they thought guests were too dumb to know what a Midway is.
The Midway Mania name makes a lot more sense at DCA where the ride is actually located on... wait for it... a midway.
