Trip Report Revisiting 2016's War and peace I took one for the team

Hello it's me again and if you want to know what the title means you'll have to stick around for a while. Sorry but no spoiler This trip was 3 years in the making and the official countdown started at 439 days. Surprisingly the time seemed to fly by. Our little adventure was taken by me (for those who don't know I'm Figmentfan423 Figgy to my friends here), my dh and our 2 boys James 14 and fellow Disney planner and M who's a bit older autistic and doesn't like getting his picture taken or me talking about him. Our trip began at

am on July 30th. We sang happy birthday to my little guy while driving down the street on our way to Disney. I'm a very mean mommy who made my baby spend his birthday in the car. Any way it was smooth sailing until half way through Virginia where we hit rain and traffic all the way to the North Carolina border. It was bad enough we worried a bit about making it to our hotel for the first night but once we hit NC the skies cleared and so did the traffic:joyfull: and we made it to Florida

to take the obligitory first Florida picture of the boys. With a bit of luck and excitement we made it to Ormond Beach to get a good night's sleep.

We all went back to DA to go on Gringott's, I swear I saw something I had missed before each time through. The boys all wanted to play with the wands and it was a bit hot (good excuse:D) So I walked over to Finnegan's and had a Shark Attack it was really good Coconut rum, Blue Curacao, pineapple juice and a splash of sprite.

Do you plan on ever heading to London to do the Studio Tour? It has amazing detail, too. I just found out that the Exibition is coming to the Netherlands in Februari, so we're planning to go to that, too. I'll take pictures!
We'd love to go to Europe someday but not until James is out of school. Please do take lots of pics. Thank you

If you read my PTR you know I wanted to have some time for resort hopping. Well finally I had a chance here. We went to the Royal Pacific an absolutely beautiful resort. It was so easy to get to by boat!

We had dinner at the island Kitchen and it was great. Our server made some wonderful suggestions after finding out we're all gf. I started with a Golden Monkey and Jim got a crispin cider(how boring)

Getting back to the parks was easy except they check your bags before getting back on the boat, no biggie. We went to see terminator. I'm not sure I've ever seen one of the movies all the way through but I enjoyed the show
IMG_3798.JPG
After that we took another run through MIB. More magic some time in Knockturn and I finally got the shot I wanted

Way cooler at night!

Then we headed back to Kong and it has several story lines so we had to see how many we'd get. By then it was getting a bit warm so I took the boys on Ripsaw Falls(waste of time) once and Bilge Rats a couple of times (good thing I brought a change of clothes) they boys decided to go on each again. I hate to say it but BR is better than Kali. Jim went and cleaned out Honeydukes:eek:
