Here are my revised plans for my stay at wdw.....
(My cast includes wife, 1 yr old son, 4 yr old daughter, 14 yr old cousin, and 15 yr sister-in-law)
Saturday, July 13- Arrive at Best Western at lbv. Do downtown disney.

Sunday, July 14- Drop bags at poly and go to AK. Go back to poly sometime that afternoon. Go to mgm that evening and do Fantasmic dinner package

Monday- Go to either AK or MGM that morning and do water park that afternoon. Leave evening available for whatever light show we feel like going to.

Tuesday- Epcot all day. Take rests at Epcot with the little and let the older ones explore. Poly luau that night with wife. E- ride at MK that night. Will I have time after luau to take older kids to E-ride night?(8:00 PM luau)

Wednesday morning character breakfast at 1900 Park Fare(4 yr old just has to see M. Poppins or Alice). Leave from there and do MK that day. Take rests at Park. Evening is available for whatever we want to do. Possibly O'Hanas

Thursday- We will plan this day after we get there. Probably some ak or mgm mixed with some epcot or maybe even more water park in the afternoon.

Friday- Check out and get all the magic we can before we go.

Again, thanks for all of the help on my last post. If anyone else sees anything that i am overlooking let me know.

I haven´t fully studied your itinerary, but I think you have a lot to do on Tuesday... Epcot is very spread out and kinda tiring sometimes... If Luau is at 8pm and it takes a good two hours, I´m not sure if I would pay for an E-ticket for just one hour or so...

I would skip the e-night and just do whatever I didn´t have time to do for thursday that you have the whole day "off"...

Dinner at Ohana´s is a must! :slurp:

Personally, I'd reverse the water park and theme park. Do TL first thing in the morning before it gets crowded. It should be more than warm enough. Then go to a park, preferably the one you want to see a "light show" at. This also cuts down on your traveling back and forth to the Polynesian. We try and keep down travel time since this cuts into park time. You can go to MGM since they are open later than AK. We logged about six hours at TL during our last trip in May.

With longer summer hours, I would try and keep to one park a day. Park hopping is more useful in the off-season when MK and Ak close earlier and you can then hop to MGM or Epcot. With a nap (in his stroller) our 3 1/2 yo had no trouble running twelve hour days.

I'd also consider spending more at time MK. Given the age of all four kids, I wouldn't be surprised if it was their favorite park.

Also less likely to have weather issues (those Central Fla p.m. showers... usually after 3:00 pm)

You have 5 full days! Keep it simpler! Make one park a day! On your AK day, do Fantasmic and on your Studios day, do Illuminations so you can catch the Luau on your Epcot day. :animwink:

I´m probably not making mush sense, but I don´t have a calendar board to write it down and make changes! hehe :animwink:

I would try and get the Luau on a different night...with limited time on your hands those e-ride nights are worth the costs. We didnt hit any this trip but our previous trip it was worth it with the 3 & 5 yr old...they loved astro orbiter, haunted mansion, CBJ etc...and with the older kids its a definate time saver! just a thought!

It is probably a personal preference, but I don't think that you will need 3 half days at AK. I've always been able to see everything that interests me there in four to six hours. Definitely fast pass the safari and Countdown to Extinction (or whatever it is now. :D )

But take my advice with a grain of salt since AK is my least favorite park.

:D :D Thanks for all the feedback. Something else to think about. I also thought i needed to go to tl in the afternoon, and someone stated that they used it as a break to cool off in the afternoon. I do think i need to move the luau off of the e-ride night. Again, thank you for all the input. I promise i dont mind criticism,

AK seems a lot hotter then the other parks so try to avoid it during the afternoon. Deffinatly go indoors (restraunt) during the hottest hours if your going to stay at the park.

If you are going to do Epcot for a full day, I would suggest going to the boardwalk during the day for a break from the park, maybe for lunch or dinner, and just relax around the area. Maybe even bring swim trunks and go swimming in one of the pools. Though I've never been there during the summer, my family finds it refreshing going to multiple parks during a day so that we don't get bored at one park. It also helps to hit the major attractions VERY early and then as the crowds build, go to the smaller ones and even take time for a meal or rest.

I agree with Disney Krazed about avoiding AK in the afternoon. I've HEARD there is very little shade. It might be alright for you, but what are the ages of the folks you are touring with?

Just a note of concern, I heard that AK gets extremely crowded on weekends,......probably so do the other parks, but locals tend to flood AK on Sat?Sun. Maybe others can help more.
