Revenues up 10%

It's nice to see revenues up for an anniversary year, but after 15 years they are still losing money.

Does the 43 Euro per capita spending seem low? It includes admission, food and merchandise. (Attendance was 6.1 million and theme park revenues were 269.3 Euro million). One day ticket price is around 43 Euro, which doesn't leave anything for food and souvenirs.

Hmmmm.... yep. I`ll have a closer look. Believe me, people eat and purchase in DLP like in WDW.

BTW; 6.1 million in a half year. It does sound better!

I am glad that they are still trying with that park. I haven't looked into it really at all but how much longer would you guess until they "break even"?

This is indeed good news. I'm especially happy to see that the net loss is down 19.8 million to 82 million euro.

I'm still relatively new to analyzing DLP, but from everything I've read about the first 10 years (I haven't studied much about the past 5 years)... it does look like things are getting better. There are two things though that I would like to learn more about:

1. Would anyone be so kind as to explain the Operating Margin Before Depreciation and Amortization? I know what the Operating Margin is, but the 'Depreciation and Amortication' part confuses me. How does this impact the bottom line?

2. What constitutes DLP's 'Real Estate Development Segment?'
