Revenge of the Mummy lighting?

I just went to HHN 22 last night, and I have one question about Revenge of the Mummy...

Has anyone noticed how bright it is? The first scenes are great, I even noticed new lighting effects on the Imhotep animatronic. However, when we reached the scarab scene, the screens were clearly visible. It was even worse when we reached the turntable scene. You could see the turntable mechanism, catwalks, the screens that show the Imhotep projection, everything! Then, after the first launch, it was pretty bright in the show building. You can easily see the track all around you, the catwalks and the supports.

Maybe it's just me, but I remember it being MUCH darker in there... Has anyone else experienced this problem? It is one of my favorite attractions, but with the lighting like that, it just isn't as strong of a ride... :'(

The Scarab scene looks awesome, IMO. It's the new projectors/work going on in the building.

The turntable scene was bad, but it's being worked on.

I don't think the arena is any brighter, though.

The arena was really bright. I could make out the whole coaster (for the most part) in the darkness. The tracks, supports, catwalks and other cars were very much visible.

I figured it could have been that my eyes were adjusted to the darkness due to it being night, but I'm not sure...

I used to work at ROTM. Rode it last week for the first time in a while and I was impressed with how good everything looked. The projection screens are a bit too bright but they do look much better than they did before when they are on. I even noticed a few new upgraded lighting touches. Overall I think the darkness level is about the same it's always been. At HHN you're riding it at night time so your eyes are adjusted to darkness - maybe this is why it seemed brighter? The same thing kinda happens on all dark rides - they look better when your eyes are not adjusted to the darkness.
