Is Return to Zero still performing the mic check prior to Beauty? We bought the CD over 2 years ago after hearing them and it is still one of my kids favorites. Hoping they will be around in November (not 2006 but 2007  )

Yes, they still perform under their "Disney Name" as "4 for a $".

Their shows start about 10 minutes before the scheduled B&B show-time.

Very, very popular, as always. Some guests just go to hear them, and exit before B&B starts.

They have Sunday as a day off (and maybe Mon.)

Great!!

Thanks for the info. We have the Retrun to Zero CD and a Christmas CD from them. Do you think their new CD will be available outside the park? On their website (assuming they have one)? It would be nice to pick it up and listen to it on the drive down.

THANKS!

According to Sammy, the CD is scheduled to be released by Christmas. Depending on the content of the CD (as they are a Christian group), it would be released at the Disney-MGM Studios. You would also probably be able to purchase it on their website (www.return2zero.net) or www.a-cappella.com. Hope this helps!

Why does Disney have them perform under a different name?
Even taking legal issues into account, i can't figure out any real reason to do this.

Because it's uniquly Disney, they don't want thier groups outside the parks. Since they preform outside MGM, 2 names had to be created. Just like how Voices of Liberty don't preform outside the park, and if they do, it's "Liberty Voices". Just so everything at WDW is unique to WDW.

I was at WDW from September 10-18 and they did not perform at either of the shows I went to during my stay.

That, and, if there is any reason that the group known as "Return 2 Zero" goes off elsewhere, or retires, or...
Disney still owns the rights to a group known internationally as "4 for a $."

BTW, WDW holds open auditions for this "gig" and there are "extra" members who perform on different days when not all 4 of the guys from "Return 2 Zero" are available.

The auditions for "4 for a $" are posted along with the other vocal talent tryouts.
