Normally DCL say not before 12 noon, we have been off the Magic and Fantasy at Port Canavwral on our cruises:-

7.30AM
8.20AM -Delay re security issue.
7.30am
8.30am Again Delay re border control and security issue.
7.30am x 2.

You can see a delay can cause an issue, I saw one Disney ship come in recently at 11.30am.

There have been reported immigration delays at MCO re the government cuts.

I think 11.20am is doable on a normal day but may have risk, any chance of getting flexible tickets if you delayed you bounce on?

They say 11:30 now. I had an 11:30 and we made it in plenty of time. But there certainly are risks if something out of the norm happens!

Does anyone know what time the last Disney bus leaves for transfers to MCO? Our flight is around 1:00pm and I do not want to sit at MCO for 4 hours.

There's no set time really, they roll as they fill up. They like everyone to be off around 9, 9:30 at the latest. So the last bus leaves around then.

1120 is doable if everything goes right!.................like

1. The vessel arrives and docks on time.
2. There is no HLS delays.
3. There is no traffic or accidents along the way.
4. The bus or vehicle your in doesn't break down or you get a flat tire.
5. The security lines at MCO are not beyond normal delays.

Yes, all these things are rare, but they do happen and all it takes is one!

So are you willing to risk it???

Good Luck in any case.

I picked the later flight:) I am not a risk taker lol.

Another question. Since I took the later flight, should I do a car service intead? Would it be possible to have breakfast near the port? I have heard of a place called fish lips? And have the car pick us up a little later, I know we would have to lug around our luggage, but I hope to not have a lot. I guess we could just eat and hang out at the airport. That does not sound fun, lol.

So, I was able to snag a brand new Grand Flo Villa for the night after our cruise (12/29). What time do buses start leaving PC for WDW? I know it can vary based on Immigration, but in general is it 7:00? 8:00? Trying to see what time we might be able to be at the gate at MK (fingers crossed it is before 11). Thank you everyone!

We had an 1150 departure last Sunday. We also did on board airline check-in. The announcements on the ship say get off by 8am. I asked at GS and they said between 8 and 9. We ate a quick breakfast and were off the ship by 820. We had no issues at the port or at the airport. We just didn't want to hang out at MCO for three or four hours.

We chose 3 pm flight out of MCO rather than 1 pm even though you can definitely make 1 pm. Not so confident about 11:20 am. We did on-board check in so we had no luggage to tote. It was delivered with us on plane and we gathered it at baggage claim at destination airport.
We ate breakfast on departure morning at 8 am in Royal Court restaurant on deck 3 (restaurant where you had dinner night before, Main seating at 7 am, second seating at 8 am) and heard the multiple announcements asking all passengers to debark by 9 am.
We got off close to 9 am. Took about a half hour to get through customs. Disney Cruise Line buses run regularly as they fill up and the trip takes about 45 minutes from the port to MCO.
So yes, we sat a while in MCO waiting for our 3 pm flight. We had starbucks coffee and Macaroni Grill lunch. Not five stars, but MCO is certainly a very nice airport if you have some time to kill. We went though security around 1pm and waited at gate for our 3 pm flight, but we began boarding around 2:30 pm. I'd do exactly the same thing next time. I think you made correct choice by choosing later flight.

They leave as soon as they are full. If you are in the first wave of passengers off the ship, your bus will pretty much leave within 10 minutes after you get on it. They load and go.
