Why did Disney bother to change Tomorrowland at all? It's become a vast wasteland. Let's do the math. The following attractions were eliminated for the "upgrade:"
MISSION TO MARS (I miss this one. I miss the free tush massages.)
CIRCLEVISION (One of the best attraction musical scores was attached to "American Journeys."
PEOPLE MOVER (It was one of the best ways to relax after a long day. There was never a line. Maybe it'll return now that Rocket Duds, er, Rods has officially been scrapped after wasting millions on an idea that really wasn't that thrilling to begin with.)
SUBMARINE VOYAGE (OK, no big lost here.)
SKYWAY (It was one of the best ways to see Tinkerbell during Fantasy in the Sky, but you had to time it just right! But now with the complexity of Believe! I doubt the Skyway would be running anyway during the show even if it did still exist).
LET'S SEE......we gratefully gave up Captain EO for Hunny I Shrunk the Audience and the old Carousel of Progress / America Sings theatre has become a sad copy of EPCOT's Innoventions.
I just wish some money would be spent at Disneyland. It seems to be the stepchild of all the parks.
