I will add this site as a favorite. Hopefully it will be updated regularly.

We hope so too.. as we aren't going to be the ones that determine that.. our site is a bit different, from our about page:

"While we have forums, this site will put more emphasis on our users posting memories, photos, home movies & videos, all of which are displayed on the front page. This is not a one person show, its for all of us..."

Different concept, will take time to get going... The best you can do to help is participate!

So since we have this thread open, any ideas on what retro fans would like to see from our site?
Pics of the Empress Lilly. :)

Also, pics of areas that are under-photographed:
The Village
Discovery Island
The trails and nooks and crannies of River Country

We didn't have digital cameras in the 70s/80s. Pics were expensive, you had to buy film, have them developed. So you took 24, or 36, perhaps two or three times that. Most feature yourself and your family, plus the obvious landmarks.
Who in his right mind took twenty pictures of shops in The Village?

Yes i remember those days of film... 110 film, 128 film, 35mm and UGH the Kodak Disc... what a mess that thing was!

We will make The Village and Empress Lilly part I of our new Photo Hunt that we are kicking off soon!

We're working on adding a few new things to RetroDisneyWorld.com.. For one, we are putting together a blueprint collection of old attractions and we will be adding more home movies. We're thinking of expanding beyond 1989 at some point; as to include Disney MGM-Studios but only before the Sunset Blvd. expansion.

What would everyone else like to see?

There must be a lot of cookies or the need of an updated security certificate because I cannot access the site from this computer. I like the idea though.
