I know nothing has been mentioned yet for the anniversary. But, Do you think they might utilize the old millenium village for the 25th? Like a "One man's dream" Exhibit?

Well, all that stuff is gone ... its used for conventions and things like that. Just a big building.

If they are going to celebrate Epcot's 25th as an official celebration, I would hope they do something a little more major than rehashing Millennium Village.

I think he meant more along the lines of using the space that was formerly occupied by the MV as a showcase for retro Epcot props--Journey into Imagination stuff, World of Motion stuff, etc. Personally, I think it's kind of a cool idea...I'm just not too sure that very much of the stuff is still in the possession of the Company/still exists.

Wow, I guess you're right. I applaud your deduction!

I agree, I think mousesurplus has probably sold most of the stuff.

An exhibit like that isn't a bad idea. But it shouldn't be the centerpiece of a celebration.

Millennium Village/World Showplace is a permanent building.
I shot through it like a bullet one time back in 2000. It looked like a big circus tent to me with the acts to match. Thank you for the clarification.

Well, it has been hinted around at here that there would be surprises awaiting us soon at Epcot. Perhaps this building might fit into that plan somehow.:lookaroun

Interesting. Personally I think something much greater is in store. I agree with Thrawn on the idea of it not needing to be a feature addition.

Perhaps it'll be a giant Ellen DeGeneres head to replace SSE, since she's already infiltrated 2 out of 6 future world pavilions - and note that I've basically laid WOL to rest in my mind...:(
