Resturants open after park hours

Does anyone know why disney closes all resturants in a park as soon as it closes. A lot of times, people would like going to a on property resturant, after all of the rides are closed to have more time. I know Universal does this. Even though thier resturants are always empty, they keep them open a half hour after the parks close, which I think is a great idea. What do you think?

I think that this would be a great idea. I am sure you would find loads of people taking advantage of the fact they could each in a great restaurant, in one of the parks later than closing time. I know I would.

So they close when the park closes, but what if you show up 5 minutes before closing, will they let you in? We've had dinner several times with our ps close to closing time (I'm not sure how close), then when we're finished the whole park was ours. Well maybe not the whole park but from where you're at to the entrance is fun to walk through with virtually no one else around.

I believe that they will seat you up until park closing. I have noticed that this has caused some problems on E-nights at MK. People finishing their meals and then thinking they could stay in the park.
