Restaurants at Animal Kingdom Lodge??

My group would love to eat at one of the restaurants in Animal Kingdom Lodge but I have a problem with spicy food so I’m a little afraid of the choices on the menus. Any suggestions on something that I can eat that won’t keep me from enjoying the rest of the evening at the parks? One more thing just to make it difficult I don’t care for fish.
Hi
We are staying at AKL next week and have ADRs at all three table service- Boma, Sanaa and Jiko.
Can't speak from past experience for Jiko and Sanaa but you will definitely find things that aren't too spicy at Boma. Our very picky 10 year old eater loves the breakfasts there and can always find something at dinner!
Have it on good authority he'll be ok at Sanaa as they will adapt menus to suit tastes. (Not getting the chance to find out at Jiko- hubby and I doing date night whilst little monster being supervised by his much older brother in Mara lol!)
Enjoy!

I was worried about the same thing but I really wanted to eat at Jiko when we stayed at AKL. I read that even though the fillet and mac n cheese was no longer on the menu that they will make it for you if you ask. I am so glad that I asked and they made it for me! I had the bread service, the fillet with mac n cheese, and the coffee flavoured creme brulee... all were amazing! Best meal of our trip! Here is a picture:

Spicy foods and my stomach definatly do not agree with each other. However, we have eaten at JIKO twice and I have had no problems. The food was wel prepared and delicious. The restaurant is normally quite quiet and peaceful.

Here's some of what we had on our last trip. None of if was hot or spicy in our opinions. Sorry the first one is a little blurry.
Grilled wild boar tenderloin with mealie pap, chakalaka, white truffle oil, and micro cilantro it was soooo good.

an amuse bouche of stuffed pastry with a remolaude type sauce

West African Jerk Scallops with basmati rice, red quinoa, baby rainbow carrots, and coconut curry sauce...but we heard this is coming off the menu soon for seasonal rotation.

the beef short ribs which melted in my mouth. i'm not sure what all was on the plate but i basically licked it clean.

African bread pudding my daughter loved it.

Kenyan coffee, raspberry, chocolate almond crunch pot au creme. It didn't have a heavy coffee taste which for me was good and honestly i could have eaten a bucket full of this stuff.
