ok we (myself Samantha 28 my daughter Mia who will be 5 then and my parents) are not heading to the world until October this year but we have started to look into restaurant menus and reviews already and are putting down some places we want to try.

we are on the deluxe dining plan and are going for 2 weeks.

i am not a breakfast girl and neither is mia so our plan is to use snack credits for breakfast either at our hotel (beach club marketplace) or at the park we are heading to that day then either having a character lunch for 2 credits or go our for a nice meal at night for 2 credits :)
my parents will be doing the big breakfast small lunch and big dinner!

below is what we have listed as must dos and our question is from those restaurants we have missed what are you MUST DO'S?

we love trying new food and having nice meals my dads big must is ribs (we dont get them here in Australia like you can in USA and he fell in love with them last year when we came over) so he would love to hear where the best ribs are? :)

Yachtsman
Beaches and Cream
Big River Grille
Be Our Guest
Cinderellas Royal Table
Tonys
Via Napoli
Le Cellier
Rose and Crown
Tutto Italia
Mama Melrose fantasmic dinner package
Sci Fi Diner
Raglan Road
TRex

Portobellos
Kona breakfast
1900 Park Fare DINNER

Well, first let me say,I hope you have a great vacation. The deluxe dining plan is a lot of food. ( Have not done deluxe, only read about it ) I done a thread a while back on "Best Ribs" at WDW. They are plenty of good choices,my favourites are House of Blues at downtown and Flame Tree in AK.As far as your list goes, all look awesome, especially Yachtsman. My favourites from your list are T-Rex,Raglan,Via Napoli ( pizza really good, best on property IMOH ) But you've got plenty of time to study and plan.Enjoy.:)

Looks yummy. Other places to look into would be Boma or Jiko at AKL, 'Ohana at Poly, the Hoop-dee-do at Ft. Wilderness, Artist Point at WL, Kouzzina at the Boardwalk. The deluxe plan is a lot of food, I've done it a few times. Since you're going in October, you can use a lot of your snack credits at the Food and Wine festival, we did that last year and it was great.

Well, I have always said the only and best way to really make the Deluxe dining plan work is to take book a bunch of the 2 credit meals, especially since you said you don't plan on sitting down for breakfast.
Cinderella's Royal Table, Hoop-dee-doo Revue, Jiko, Flying Fish Cafe are a few great ones for your party.
Your list is fantastic and a great variety. We love Kona for breakfast! Happy planning!!

That's a great list, some of my favorites are on there ( Raglan Road, Kona bfast, 1900 PF dinner). The ribs at Hoop De Doo were pretty good. It is also a fun show. My favorite place to eat is Biergarten. Good food and the music is really good.

For the ribs, try Boma on a Saturday night. Absolutely amazing, and all you can eat. :)

i second jiko. i think its definitively a cant miss restaurant. i would also throw in either narcoossees or cali grill.

I have heard so many wonderful things about Jiko. It's high on my to do list on the next trip.

thanks all will pop Jiko down!

i saw somewhere you can use your snacks for food and wine i will definately give that a try thanks for the tip!!!

Kona cafe breakfast one of the best meals, I have heard all of there food is good. 1900 PF was also good, Hollywood and Vine is cute if she like Disney Jr., Le Celliar is good. Flametree is good for ribs and bq pork sandwiches. Cinderella Royal table the princesses are very cool, but the food is NOT, eating in the castle is also very fun. Ohana's dinner is also excellent. Have a great time.

O'hana for dinner is great! Also, we aren't big breakfast people but, we went to Akershus for breakfast on our trip in September & it was one of our best meals of the week! The interaction there is great too especially for a little girl. They have a princess parade & all of the Princesses parade around the restaurant with your little princes & princesses. My daughter who was a month shy of 4 loved it!

If your dad loves ribs, you must try Cosmic Ray's for a counter-service meal at the MK. The portions are huge and delicious! The floor show is a hoot too with Sonny Eclipse. We never miss it.

If you're not a big breakfast eater but don't want to miss out on the amazing Kona Cafe Tonga Toast and macadamia nut pineapple pancakes, do what we did last month: book breakfast at the latest time possible -- 11am - so that you can visit the MK in the morning from rope drop til 10:30am then catch the monorail to the Poly for "brunch."
