Again I must reply...my wife and I eat here a lot, the last time being June 2004. We absolutely love it. The interior is charming and relaxing. The food is delicious. You can download the menu from Allearsnet. com but the cold buffet is full of breads, salads, meat dishes, etc as well as several styles of herring! As far as ordering the hot dishes, I did it without hesitation. My wife and I must have "tried" 6 or 7 dishes just in June and our waitress was very quick in getting our food to us (between that and the buffet, I was never waiting with an empty plate). And (hope my wife doesn't read this  ...love you, dear) the Norwegian waitresses were ... wow! There were some brunettes but the blondes were striking!!
Seriously, another tip if you don't try it is to really talk with your wait staff. I am constantly fascinated by CM's in Epcot from around the world and will chat with them for a long time. Our waitress talked all about her travels around Europe, her 5th trip to USA, her grandfather back home in Norway, helped us with our pronunciations...it completed the mood for us perfectly. We felt like we were eating in a little place in Norway itself! When we mentioned it was our anniversary trip, she even brought us an extra dessert to congratulate us!
We're doing the Princess Breakfast in a week so I'll post more about that. I miss the lunch but now that I hear they may be unofficially doing it early, I might just try to squeeze it into our schedule as well!
