Resorts back to using old mugs?

I stayed at Coronado Springs a few weeks ago.

They were all back to the Coronado Springs refillable mug, not the Year of a Million Dreams version.

I didn't see anyone with Dream mugs, so I doubt would have to doubt that they just ran out.

What's the situation at the other resorts? Are they all back to resort-specific mugs, or are they still selling the Dreams mugs?

I was'nt trying to state anything unethical. I just saw so many people doing it, I assumed it was OK, I can tell by your comment I assumed incorrectly. Just that while we were there, so many people had other mugs, that I thought maybe you were supposed to bring them back but then I see the sign stating it is only good during your stay, so I was confused. I don't go to Disney as much as I would like so I don't know all the "rules". Sorry I wasnt trying to stir things up.

Wait, I haven't heard of this. So now the mugs have bar codes? And if you bring it back next year, they scan it and you get a discount on refills?

No, no bar codes except at the water parks.
