ok this thread is for people who have always wanted to stay in a different resort than the one they always stay in (my reason is i cant afford any of the delux or moderate resorts). for me ive always and im talking always wanted to stay in the Polynesian resort as it just looks sooooo relaxing and its cheaper than going to hawaii, and the Boardwalk villas/resort, a close second would be the Grand floridian coz when you see that from magic kingdom it looks like a postcard picture so tranquill.
when i go this year im going to visit all the resorts.:D

Animal Kingdom Lodge for me. I love the theming; it just seems so different from any regular-old expensive hotel (not that I ever get to stay in those either!)

But on my budget, I have to be happy with the All Stars. And only go every few years.

But hey, it's still Disney! :sohappy:

As a DVC member I continue to enjoy staying at the Boardwalk but I could really enjoy a suite at the Poly go to say the concierge idea certainly is the way to go... :king:

GF seems like it may be a little to pretentious so not sure I'd want to stay there.

But now I see the AK - Presidents Suite here http://www.wdwmagic.com/ak_lodge_presidentialsuite.htm and well there you go....

Anyone want a pay my way ??? Sure we can make it a charitable deduction somehow. :sohappy:

Have you considered staying just a night or two at the Poly? I too can't swing a whole trip at the Poly but I can manage a couple nights. Thats why for my trip in October I'm splitting my trip up with a few nights at the Poly, a few nights at the AKL and the bulk of my stay at the CBR. This way I can get a taste of these resorts without having to sell my house to do it. Ya I'll have to move twice during our trip but to me thats a small inconvenience to be able to experience these other resorts. :D
No reason you can't stay at a Value and then spend your last night or two at the Poly. Then again, 2 nights at the Poly is more than a week at the CBR.
