Resort wins highest worldwide attendance growth

Just read this over at dlrpmagic.com - Congratulations Disneyland Resport Paris, this is excellent news.

The Themed Entertainment Association has just published its annual theme park attendance study, with Disneyland Resort Paris easily topping the global list for the highest growth in 2007.

Do you think this is because of the kids under age 8 (or whatever it was) goes free?

I think it's maybe a mixture of that and the fact that Paris is so damn easy to get to for Europe compared to Florida! I'm in Britain and I could easily go there for the weekend, whereas to make Florida worth it, I would have to come for two weeks or more!:shrug:

Plus, Paris has been updated quite a lot recently, and is very heavily advertised over here, moreso than Florida!

Florida will always be where the real Disney Magic is for me though.

Definately the Kids under 8 stay and play free has a huge impact, thats why they are continuing it for a second year.
