Does anyone know if I have a character breakfast at Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary, if they would allow me to leave my car there and go straight to the Magic Kingdom....I have heard different stories, but wanted to know everyones opinion on that....

Absolutely - they'll never know, anyway. Leave your car in the Contemporary, then hop the monoroail to the Magic Kingdon. As a matter of fact, you can then park-hop by taking the monorail to the TTC, and go from there. The only disadvantage I can see in any of this is that you'll have to end your day at the Contemporary, and it might conceivably take you a few minutes longer to get there from wherever you end your touring day, but driving out of the Contemporary will be easier than exiting the TTC parking lot anyway!!! Go for it.

They may have a new policy after 9/11....

But what you do is tell the security guard your going in for breakfast at Chef Mickey's and you just leave your car in the parking lot, they can't tow you.

But don't park close, cause as a former resort guest I don't want to have to park 3 miles away and walk an hour.

It really depends on the day I think.

The security will give you a piece of paper saying you are there for Chef Mickey's. It has the option of unlimited parking and a 3 hr. limit.

I've parked there for over 3 hours and been fine. Of course I had my Disney College sticker and Disney housing sticker on my car. I've also seen others that were left alone too. This was in value times.

I have seen cars with tickets on them, I've even seen one car being towed. This has been in the middle of summer with lots of crowds.

First thing first, are you staying on Disney property? BEcause if you are then parking is free anyway. Then if you want to park at the contemporary don't park in one of the close spots park near one of the wings or something and walk.

yes, im staying at the Caribbean Beach resort and didnt think it would be wise to go all the way back the resort and catch a bus since im in the area anyway....I have heard that sundays are slow days for the magic kingdom and i would like to get there as soon as my breakfast is done....I just dont wanna get back after a day at the park and have no ride back to the resort....

35 days and counting...disney world here we come!!!
