Resort shuttle buses

ok, I have seen post here on the Disney buses that go from the resorts to the parks and I cannot locate any of the post.

My question is what time do the buses start running to the parks?

We are going to the World Nov. 21-30, since the calendar just came out we are sitting deciding on what parks we are going on what days.

On Nov. 22 the MK opens at 9am, we want to be at the park to see the rope drop, I have read on another post that some have arrived at like 10 min before the park opens and they already had the ceremony, so should we arrive at least 30 min before the park opens? Also we are staying @ SSR what time should we try to leave the resort to get to the park?

Buses start an hour before park opening. There are also breakfast buses that are not as fixed on a schedule, they start at 7AM.

Catch a bus around 8 to get to the rope drop ceremony on time and with a decent spot.

MontyMon is correct. Get to the stops early if you have a character breakfast before the park opens. Ususally around 8 am you can catch a bus to any location.

I thought we might have to catch the bus by 730, since I have been reading that bus services have not been the best lately.

My DH & I were thinking if the rope drop is at 9am, that we just schedule a 9:30 breakfast. we are not early risers, so just getting to the rope drop will be alot of effort, Then we can go into the park. MK has EMH on that day, so the park will be open till 1am. so maybe later in the day go back to the resort take a nap & then go back to the park around 5 or 6.

:wave:Buses from most resorts start 2 hours before the parks open and run 2 hours after the parks closes. I would leave at least 1 hour before you want to arrive at the MK to make sure you are there with no issues.:wave:Take care now

Buses leave the barn around 6:30 a.m., perhaps a few minutes later.

Buses typically run about every 15-20 minutes. Expect those earliest buses (the ones way before park opening, the ones mainly meant for character breakfasts) to run less often, perhaps every 30 minutes or so. But by about 1 hour before park opening they should be on that every 15-20 minute schedule.
