Resort Question???

I think every resort at Disney has a food Court. Exactly how similar to All Stars they are, I'm not real sure, but they should only go up in quality from the All Stars offerings. Does that help?

First of all. Welcome to the forum crazygirley.

I do believe at least all of the moderate hotels do. I am not sure about the others...:veryconfu

Creek Wayne is right on it here. All the moderates have food courts, but the Deluxe have either sit down restaurants or some type of counter service eatery. None of the deluxe that I know of have an actual "large" food court, besides a smaller cafeteria style counter place...but all have some sort of NON-sit down place to eat. Hope this helps....

PS... PO/Riverside gets my vote for best resort food court, can taste those baked items now :slurp: .

 OOPSIE!!! Forgot to say welcome to you    , so sorry!!!

Guess this is what I mean... I consider this a food court though. You can order food, or select from salads, or dry goods, or fast food service.

I would consider the Mara a food court type place--it has the various stations and all. It is a bit smaller than what you find at the All-Stars and Pop Century, but that's in part because the Resort has two other restaurants.

Contemporary has the Food and Fun Center, which offers that type of meal
Boardwalk doesn't really have one
Old Key West has Good's Food to Go
Fort Wilderness does not offer one
Grand Floridian has Gasparilla Grill and Games
Polynesian has Captain Cook's Snack Company
Swan and Dolphin had Cabana Bar and Grill, Splash Grill, and Tubbi's
Wilderness Lodge has Roaring Fork Snacks
Yacht and Beach Club offer Beaches and Cream Soda Shop and Hurrican Hanna's Grill

While each of these do not necessarily look like a food court, they do have food court style American food as well a "grab 'n' go" selection of premade food. All have a pricerange around that of the more traditional food courts found at the Value and Moderate Resorts.

First, welcome! Out of the value and moderates (I've been to most of them), I personally prefer the food court at Port Orleans Riverside. They have a great layout with a wide assortment of great food. I can't speak for the deluxe resorts though as we have never been to one...yet.

The all star music food court and the carribean beach resort food court are close to the same, expect there is one sit down/table service resturant in the carribean beach resort.

Let me add my welcome to the chorus, crazygirley! Our favorite food court is Port Orleans French Quarter. We've stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort and eaten at that food court, too, but it's a hike from some of the hotel rooms. Seems a bit more cramped, too, but maybe that's just us.

The Yacht and Beach club resorts "Quick Service" areas are very deceiving. Beaches and Cream really isn't quick service. The prices are higher than the average food court and I believe you are served. Hurricane Hannah's is the pool side bar and food area, not really a food court area.

This has been my one complaint about the resort, there is no place to get a cheap (on Disney Terms) and fast meal. You have to go to a sit down place to eat.

YES!!! :sohappy: by george you've got it.... . Have a great trip. (Still vote for PO/R as best food court. Too many selections for just one meal!) :slurp:
